ABOUT SPORT MASSAGE
Washington Sports Massage Team (WSMT) is a group of Licensed Massage Practitioners who are trained in sports massage, individually licensed in Washington State and individually insured for liability. We offer the highest quality sport-specific massage to participants in athletic events. Established in 1987 through our Washington Chapter AMTA (AMTA-WA.org), WSMT is a non-profit group dedicated to promoting the highest standards of professionalism in massage through involvement with sports activities around our state.
Recognized by the American Massage Therapy Association with having an outstanding sports massage team, acknowledged with the National Sports Massage Team Award three times - 1999 and 2001, 2007. We are the only chapter that has accomplished this out of all AMTA Sports Massage Teams.
